Eco-Friendly Dining for a Greener Tomorrow

Our Commitment to Sustainability
and reducing our carbon footprint.

At Tarka Indian Kitchen, we believe great food shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet. That’s why we take every step possible to minimize our environmental impact. We recycle used cooking oil, glass, aluminum, plastic, paper, and cardboard, while also composting food waste to reduce landfill contributions.

Our takeout packaging is eco-friendly, with most materials made from either recycled paper or biodegradable corn-based products sourced from U.S. farms. To further cut down on waste, we offer reusable takeout bags for purchase, giving our guests a greener alternative to single-use plastic and paper bags.

Beyond packaging, we embrace small but impactful changes, such as using energy-efficient lighting and encouraging our employees to bring reusable containers for their meals.

Sustainability is a shared effort, and we’re proud to collaborate with eco-conscious partners who help us uphold our green initiatives. Want to make a difference? Ask your favorite restaurants to go green and let them know where to find sustainable solutions!
